The Opposite
Our mission is simple, do the OPPOSITE and become more functional! If you walk into a gym you will always see a couple things:
1. People walking on the treadmill while holding on. OPPOSITE: jog/run and let go!
2. People doing the same cardio workouts at the same intensity. OPPOSITE: do constantly varied intervals at higher intensity at different speeds.
3. People relying on machines to get them in shape. OPPOSITE: learning functional movements with free weights will actually improve your balance, coordination, flexibility and strength.
4. For the men: Enough of the bench pressing and bicep curls! OPPOSITE: Do more back for once and hop on a pullup bar! You also might want to try working out your legs a little:) Now that will really impress the ladies!
5. For the women: Enough of the adductor and abductor machines! OPPOSITE: If you want your lowerhalf in better shape, get on your feet and squat, lunge, and do speed drills. And no you wont get big and "bulky". That is a myth for the billionth time!
